Something From Nothing

Have you ever wondered how we got here? Did we come from outer space, some alien life form deposited on this planet like some seed? Look around at all of the life, the trees, beautiful flowers, insects making their living from these plants and then the animals, the millions and millions of animals. Did they too come from some distant star galaxy, planted by aliens, and for what purpose?
Of course I have given away the answer to these questions in the title. Not very exciting, Something From Nothing, but really it is exciting or should be as it answers the basic question, where do we come from?
I’m no genius so I did need lots of help in figuring this out. I used my bible and over a space of time these questions were answered. No, I’m not going to tell you we are from outer space, we are not, and I am not going to say we have parents from other planets – what would be the sense of that? If alien invaders had paid a visit to earth and left behind the seed of humanity (the missing link?) we would still be stuck with the question, where did they come from?
First I will give you the short answer, from my Bible, and you can look it up for yourself, then I will get into the other stuff, like found in Genesis 6 where some teach aliens (angels?) came to earth and had sex with our women and … ? But first the answer to the question:
We came from “nothing”, then and idea, then to flesh and all from a single force or mind. That is right, we are a thought, an imagination, if you will. What, you think that is preposterous, why? Men do this all of the time, we imagine things and then make them. Look at computers, I could use the creation of cars but computers are better, just look at the language making the metal and plastic work.
Computer language is written in the language of math, a confusing but simple form of math expressed in a sequence of 0s and 1s and it is by the sequences of the 0s and 1s that brings the machine (PC) into life. Our Creator has done the same thing, except in a more perfect way, bringing something from nothing in a physical sense, as we now know, can be seen in the DNA sequence not unlike that of the 0s and 1s of the computer world.
Look at what man has done in computer science, how close we have come to creating something from nothing by the use of 0s and 1s. Everyone understands the value of 0, right? Zero is nothing, but in math it really is not, it is something and must be considered. Where do these 0s and 1s come from? Where does the DNA sequence come from?
He thought it, spoke it and it was so. We came from nothing and will one day return to nothing, unless, of course we repent, not just of our sins but of our attitude toward Him and His Son. Yes, from dust we came and dust we return, ashes to ashes and all that but this does not account for the “spirit” of man nor the “Spirit” of our Savior and of our Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit. Everything we see in the physical universe, our wolrd, our own bodies are all degenerating into nothing but by His power we will one day become a new creation, but not yet.
We can acknowledge Him by and through His Son, YaHshua. Anyone can repent of having lived a bad life or being sorry for all the things they have done in secret and in the open – this is the repentance of sin, of feeling bad for yourself, sorry for being you, a fleshly lump of corruption. Total repentance is toward our Creator, it is about Him, not us -- what He is creating in us, brothers and sisters of YaHshua. He, YaHshua, the first fruit of many.
We should want to consider Him, not ourselves, and by this we want to accept YaHshua as our personal Savior sent by our Heavenly Father to prepare a way for those called. Here we see another type of creating “something from nothing”. We have the opportunity to move from dust to spirit. He calls whatever He wants into being and this is a power and a gift He has bestowed upon His son from the beginning. YaHshua is our Creator and the Creator of all you see, “... nothing was created that was not created by Him and for Him”.
The Father, our Father has given all power to Him, YaHshua, and it is only through Him can we have access to our Heavenly Father (1 Tim 6:16) – and don’t let anyone tell you different. Consider these verses and then go to your own Bible for confirmation.
(Rom 4:17)
As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed--the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.
(1Jn 4:9)
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
(John 1:12)
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(John 1:14)
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
(John 1:3)
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
(1Co 15:50)
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
(Php 3:21)
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
The first verse quoted (Rom 4:17) is understood in its context as a reference concerning Abraham and Sarah and the seemingly impossible possibility they could have a child in their advanced age. Virtually all commentaries take this correct, contextual approach, and we too should take care in observing the context of any verses we study or consider in supporting an opinion. The commentaries, however, miss something of great importance, while the context is about something to do with our Father in faith we are given a look as and attribute of our Creator having to do with all of creation -- the ability of our Creator ”to call things into being”. Please notice, “that are not as though they were”, this goes way out there, way past Sarah being to old to give birth. Sarah did exist and though her womb was dried up it was still there, so, do you see? We are being told, Abraham and Sarah were told, it is no big deal to bring this about because your God is capable of bringing things that never existed before into being, “as though they were”. Now that is power, real power, and explains the origin of everything. He merely decides then speaks and it is done.
(Mat 19:26)
But Yahshua looked on them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (note: In most cases in the New Testament the term God can be read as, “Father”)
(John 1:1-3)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God the Father, and the Word was (as) God the Father. He was with God the Father in the beginning. Through him (YaHshua) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
YaHshua is the “Word” and being with God the Father is the Creator of all creation by the command of God the Father. When our Heavenly Father spoke, YaHshua, the Word did it. YaHshua originated from God the Father and became flesh, suffered as we are and have, becoming our mediator of understanding what it is to be flesh. It is by Him, YaHshua, we are able to approach God the Father as children following YaHshua from the flesh into eternal Holy Spirit of life eternal. We are counted as nothing by comparison and from this nothing we will be recreated into what YaHshua is and we to then will receive the gift of life, real life.
There is no other way into the Kingdom of eternity except through and by YaHshua. He is the way, the only way.
Peace to you, your servant, Dan
