Muslim Brotherhood and the Coming Political Shape of the Middle East

I have written, in the past, about the evils of the Islamic religion and to be fair I have also included the history of the Christian Church (the Pagan branch that is) into this same pot of evil.  Like many things under the sun, things change and some changes are sudden and some things creep up on us.  It is my purpose here to remark on things happening now and for possible outcomes, perhaps not as some may think.  As Witnesses and Watchers for the Word of our God and Savior YaHshua we need to be open to what we see happening and not locked into any preconceived notions.  Let His words stand true and let us be ready to make sense of things from His prospective.  Our speculations are only that and must leave room for the truth of His Word to unfold as we or others will witness the events come to pass.

  This website is not a political site and it is not a news blog.  I would not ordinarily have a comment about things political – Caesar does what Caesar does and, for the most part, as believers we are obligated to be peaceful people, obedient to the civil authorities – other wise we would have anarchy, there would be no law at all and everything would be thrown into confusion. 

  Believe it or not there are some few people that desire this, no law, no rules, everyone does what is right, or seems right, in their own eyes.  These are Anarchist and if they realized their goal people such as normal society would put in jail would be allowed to walk about as they please.  Who is to say a murderer is wrong and who is to say you are wrong to attack a murderer for murdering one of yours.  Anyone that teaches any kind of Government, or Kingdom without law or a law maker or Giver, is arguing on the side for mass confusion and the wildness of animals.  The world cannot function without law and without penalty of law. 

   Law in the Middle East

There will be Law in the Middle East, but which Law, whose Law?  This very question makes some Christians shudder, well, among themselves.  A misguided segment of the Christian population carry the war cry, “No Law”, in their teachings and it appeals to many.  It seems the attack against Law is a misdirected and misunderstanding of Scripture.  They tangle the “penalty” of the Law with the written Law.  When they speak of the Law, also, they mean Biblical Law.  Treating the Law of the Bible, the Commands of the Holy Book, as something to be rejected, even hated, all the while claiming to be law abiding citizens accepting the law of man over the Law and the laws of their Creator.

  There will be Law in the Middle East but will it be our Father’s Law.  What is the Father’s Law, you might ask?  Well, if you have thrown out most of what your Bible has to say, they you would not know the answer to this question. 

  What does this have to do with the Muslim Brotherhood?  If the Brotherhood were given power tomorrow and were able to convince the majority of the Muslim world to accept them as the ruling body of Muslim States they would not enact Sharia Law.  Once I thought this was their goal but I had confused their evolution from fist pounding intellectual Muslim radicals to intellectual Muslims working within the current political situations.  The Brotherhood are actually enemies of Al Qaeda.  The Brotherhood desires a Caliphate but not like the Caliphate of the 5^-6^th century when the Muslim Empire ruled the whole of Middle East.  Maybe it started that way and through this view Muslim Law, Sharia Law would, or could be enforced.  Over these many years, as the Brotherhood has aged and reality has set in, the Brotherhood is looking more and more like Western/European politicians.  Yes, they want a Caliphate but a bit different than what has been seen in the historical past.  They wish a rule of Law fashioned similar to what Europe has been fashioning in a United States of Europe, the EU, the present world vision of this goal. 

  The Brotherhood would have a Caliph with central rule of Arab States.  A United Arab States with a central rule allowing each member to have its own ruling body but all would be united behind a central leader.  This would allow for the individual Arab States to practice their own brand of Law but would accept a central rule of Law for the whole. 

  The people of the Middle East are fed up and want what they see on the internet, freedom, not from Law, but from suppression.  They want law that gives them freedom, freedom to express themselves without fear.  They want a type of democracy where the population has a voice in the rule of Law.  The Muslim Brotherhood are well educated and many of their members have suffered imprisonment and have matured in their thinking.  Make no mistake, while many rebels and leaders of Al Qaeda have come out of or been associated with the Brotherhood they are not the same.  The Brotherhood membership is well educated, some are educators, doctors and laws.  In appearance they look like any Western or European politician.  They may have written and even said vile things against the West but their actions are not that of blind, wild eyed martyrs ready to blow themselves up. 

  What the Muslim Brotherhood wants, a Caliphate, (central rule of a United Arab States) and this is something that fits in nicely with biblical prophecy.  The Beast ruler that is to come, with the backing and support of the False Prophet, also has the appearance of a Caliphate type government – not a democracy. 

  What we see happening in the Middle East is a call for change and this may, over time, lead to a type of democracy more similar to a modern Caliphate of central rule not unlike what the United States enjoys.  There central president, or Caliph, however, would have much more central power and authority than does the American President or the head of the EU.  The Caliphate would have a ruler seen and accepted as a ruler in succession of Mohammad by many, if not all, in the coming United Arab States. 

  I would not be too difficult to see this happening worldwide.  The historical success of the United States of America is all too obvious to the rest of the world and with the internet, a doorway to the minds and hearts of the world population, it is all the more evident as to which of all governing bodies have had and enjoyed the most success for its citizens.  No matter how hard the extreme radicals, of whatever religion, scream, cry, have fits and blow themselves and others up the evidence is in.  A free society such as the United States of America is undeniable.  European nations have been working toward this same kind of unity itself.  Many in the European nations envy the USA and harbor childish jealousy toward the USA as some kind of upstart not deserving of such success.   It seems and undisciplined rabble of people have accomplished in a few hundred years what Europe has been unable to do in thousands of years. 

  The Muslim Brotherhood are aware of the historical and political past and see a Caliphate as the answer to the problems of ruler ship and the enforcement of Law acceptable to all.  Al Qaeda cannot win and, as I have written before, have become their own worst enemy, driving peaceful people of the Arab world to eventually stand up and say, enough is enough.  The Muslim Brotherhood is positioning itself for the real revolution – the coming of the Beast Rule and the endorsement of the False Prophet.  Of course they do not see it that way and if the Middle East does turn to some form of a democratic rule in allowing the population to vote for their leaders and to begin to enjoy a sense of freedom, it would be a good thing, wouldn’t it. 

  Things will not really begin to go wrong until Satan gives his authority to the Beast and his seat of power

(Rev 13:1-2)  And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

  There is much more that has to happen.  The Beast to come is something different than what has been seen but will appear as something from the past.  This new Beast is to resemble beasts that have been before.  This Beast in whom Satan himself will give his own authority is not a resurrected Roman or Greece, but his power and his rule will have an appearance in power similar, or like, what has been before.  This new Beast will be a loose confederation of 10 leaders with, I have come to believe, as a possibility, a central leader, a Caliph, supported by a major religious leader (Imam?).  We see something similar to this in Iran.  What Iran misses is a leader with more power than the Imam, the priesthood that tells him what he can and cannot do.  Iran does, however, demonstrate this type of government can work among the people of the Middle East. 

  Imagine, if you will, a central ruler with political skill above the norm, able to say the right words, make the right concessions, appease the right people, and make the right overtures of peace endearing himself to nearly everyone and then on top of that the support of a major religious leader, a religious leader able to perform miracles? 

  Yes, things are coming together and taking shape.  Will democracy rule the world?  No, I do not think so, but it may well be used as a vehicle to political systems at odds with one another into a cohesive unit.  This style of governance, a Caliphate in the Middle East, may be just the answer and may receive the blessing of the EU and the USA and from this receive the support of the Beasts of the past.

I think this will all come into place before the Great Quake of Revelation 6:12.  The Great Quake announcing the Wrath of the Lamb is brought about by the thing, or the event that “causes the desolation” to come.  After the Great Quake everything will change and the our porphtic future will be moved into a different era.
