Who Wrote the Greek Bible

Is the Greek the inspired Word of God?

Why the Chrsitians insist It Is

By Dan Baxley

www.yahshuaservant.com

Easy question and the easy anser is, man did.  If, however, you do not agree, and I supposed most of you do not, and you feel more comfortable wrapped in the idea that the Bible, the writings of the Hebrew and the writings of the Apostles of YaHshua was actually penned by the Almighty, Supreme God, then good for you, you can stop reading right here.

First I see it as an insult to our Heavenly Father that anyone would suggest my Father in Heaven wrote the King James Bible.  People want to refer to the "inspired Greek" or the Greek writings of the Gospels and letters of the Apostles as Inspired writings?  I don't buy it but one thing is sure, it is not the Inspired King James English as some want to say.  The KJV, authorized by the King of England is a copy, a copy of a copy of another copy compared to the so called Inspired Greek.  It is an affront to my spiritual senses to hear professing Christians say the KJV Bible or any bible for that matter, is the inerrant word of the Creator God, the God that created all that we see and all that we cannot see, the God our Father, capable of calling things into existence that never existed before.  But wait, maybe they are not speaking of my Heavenly Father at all, maybe they have a different God, one that speaks in Old English, with all of the “thee” and “thou”, such holy language you know – maybe that’s it, their God is not the same God as my God.

We hear the word, “inerrant” and the saying, “literal word of God” tossed around a lot.  Look on some teaching sites and go to the "about us" and "what we believe" pages and you will see this over and over again.  Just recently I was watching a DVD by Lee Strobel, and one of the first things expressed was his belief in the "inerrant word of God", and this is from a former athiest investigative journalist.  I really like his books and the story of his journy to be coming a Christian but somewhere he stopped, satisfied with where he had reached.

Then we have other books claiming to be from the Creator, there is the Koran and its founders claiming it is the “final word of the One God” and then along comes Joseph Smith and another final word of God is discovered, the Book of Mormon.  Did the God of Heaven, the Father of our Savior, write all of these books?  No, some will say, but He did write the King James and all the other translations are of the devil.  As mentioned before, the KJV cannot be the "inspired words" only copies of the original inspried words and the scholars tell us the originals no longer exist and all we have are copies, which is to say, the Greek is not the "inspired word" either.  All we have are copies, proven to be accurate, as accurate as realy good copies can be, and it has been proven, when it comes to religious writings of any kind, they can be very accurate indeed.  Witness the Hebrew writings, everytime they find another older manuscript it demonstrates how little the copies we have today have change and for the most part no change at all.  This is holding true of the New Testament writings as well.

I know that many of you mean that He inspired (2 Tim 3:16, more on this later) the writing of the King James as in the production of this copy. What about the writings before the King James, then, from whom the King James drew most of its real inspiration?  The New Testament is nearly a copy of William Tyndale’s  work known to many as the “Plowman’s Bible”.  The biblical scholars that King James gave the task of producing an English Bible were a bit lazy and were happy to follow along in the footsteps of William Tyndale, why not, William had produced a very accurate copy of the Greek, as had others, like Martin Luther into German.

For Tyndale’s good work he was rewarded with a burning at the stake by order of the Roman Catholic Church.  You have to admire the Catholic religious authorities officiating over Tyndale’s murder though, for out to respect they had him strangled first, then burned.  Most were burned alive in the name of their God Iesous (He-sous, or He –zeus).  The English translators and scholars followed the Catholic way and used the name of their savior instead of going to the hated Jew and finding out what the Savior’s real Name was and is.  The fact is, however, they did have it and it was right in front of them all the time.

One of the books of the Hebrew Scriptures, Joshua, the name used to name our Savior.  The Name delivered to Mary and to Joseph to Name the Child of the Living God.  Joshua, as it was written then and now was right in front of the committed deciding the method of translation.  So, did our Creator, did our Messiah and Savior cause the committee to write Iesous and Iesus and later Jesus, when all along it was “Joshua” (YaHshua)?  They had the better choice and in the book of Acts there was a confusing part where Joshua, of the Old Testament, is spoken of and they translated it as Jesus and this caused some to question what was going on, but it stayed and was later corrected by some of the more modern translations.  Did the modern translators then restore our Savior’s name to that of Joshua?  No, they took the name Jesus, in the book of Acts and changed it to Joshua, so as to not become confused with the name Jesus.  It is absolutely crazy, and you want me to believe our Creator our Savior is so inept as to fumble around with the written word in such a way?

They say seeing is believing, so here it goes –

NIV:

(Act 7:45)  Having received the tabernacle, our fathers under Joshua brought it with them when they took the land from the nations God drove out before them. It remained in the land until the time of David,

KJV:

(Act 7:45)  Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

NIV:

(Heb 4:8)  For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.

KJV:

(Heb 4:8)  For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Looking in the Strong’s Hebrew Greek Dictionary we see the following:

For Jesus

G2424

Ie¯sous

ee-ay-sooce'

Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites: - Jesus.

For Joshua

H3091

yeho^shu^a?  yeho^shu^a?

yeh-ho-shoo'-ah, yeh-ho-shoo'-ah

From H3068 and H3467; Jehovah-saved; Jehoshua (that is, Joshua), the Jewish leader: - Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Compare H1954, H3442.

The English translators try to tell you the names are the same but in this you can see they are not, they aren’t even pronounced the same.  The purpose of “transliteration” as opposed to "translation" of a name, from one language to another, is to preserve the sound, the vocalization so when an Chinese person call you, for whatever reason, you know he is calling you and not someone else.  Imagine picking up your phone and someone on the other end is reading a name, not your name, but a name listed at your address, what would be your response?  Right, you would tell them they had the wrong number, but what would you do if they argued with you insisting you were this other name? Would you hang up, or try to explain they had they had the wrong name, the right address but the wrong name?Would you still fight to keep you name, the name your parents gave you?  Of course you would try to correct this error and you would hang up if this person ignores you, so why would we think the most powerful being, next to the Father, would be any different?  Oh, we can mess with His Name, we can call Him by the name of another and expect Him to take it but your better not mess with my name.

To translate a name is to give you a names meaning and to Transliterate is to reproduce a name into the same sound in a different language using that different language's lettering with the objective being to mimic the original sound and pronunciation of the object name.  This is why it is so silly to get into these arguments that a particular style of a name is not found in what some perceive as original languages.  As an example, I am constantly told that the Name YaHshua is not found in Hebrew Scriptures, and I have other answers for this, but in this case the name that is seen in the Hebrew is Yeshua, and YaHoshua, but not YaHshua but when we consider the rules of "transliteration" we find the better transliteration of the name "Joshua" (found in the English Bibles) is YaHshua -- simple.  I have to mention here though, the name Yeshua, pushed by the Jews and other preachers trying to deal with the name Jesus and Yeshua together, is not correct as it drops a very important part of the original name YHWH.  No one spells YHWH as Y WH, the Tetragrammaton is four letters, not three but when it is used, for the most part, in the Hebrew, the scribes decided to drop the "H" and in this way slyly defuse the Holy Name just like many try to do when they spell God as G-d.

If, however, we are willing to accept the idea that saying Iesous, or He-sous, or Geez-us is not the same as saying Joshua, Y’shau, YaHshua, or even YaHoshua then we will be at the beginning of a whole new journey.  We will have returned to the one true Savior and our Creator, YaHshua.  We will have move out of the “deception zone”.

(2Ti 3:16)  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

This quote was true then and it is true now.  When Paul (Saul) wrote this to Timothy what Scripture was he talking about?  You see, the New Testament had not yet been collected (letters, historical accounts, and Gospel accounts).  The “Scriptures” were those already collected and bound into scrolls and kept in sage keeping by the Jewish priests and scribes, these Scriptures we know as the Old Testament.  Other names and titles are, Torah, Tanakh, Writings, Prophets and later turned into the Masoretic Text, a base translation of all the accepted books and writings of the Hebrews into one book.  The JPS is responsible for the production of the Tanakh, -- “The New JPS Translation according to the Traditional Hebrew Text”.  Neither of these translation existed in Paul’s day but they are fairly accurate translations of the scrolls Paul referred to as Scripture.

Paul and other Apostles may have alluded to their writings being inspired and we, as readers and believers in YaHshua also see the inspiration of the writings and the benefit we gain and the knowledge we receive concerning the way YaHshua would have us live our lives.  We see all of that but you will not find any of the Apostles saying they are writing “scripture”.  We accept much of their writings as such but the reality is they did not.  Inspired yes, but written by their God?  No.  Man’s hands are all over the written word and the miracle is that the message and the good in it is not containable, it is indestructible, no matter how men and Satan try to destroy it, bend it, break it it in the end breaks them.

The whole of the New Testament is based upon the teachings from the Old Testament.  We, as Christians do not have to worry or apologize for claiming the Hebrew writings as our own as most of the devout Jews have abandon the Writings of Moses and the Prophets in favor of something they call the Oral Torah, and the Mishnah and the Gemara which is endless commentaries on the Mishnah and all of this somehow makes up the Talmud, but then there is the Jerusalem Talmud and the Babylonian Talmud.  From this you can see the religious Jews are buried in an endless search of words and letters and have very little time for the Book we Christians call the Old Testament.  Don’t forget, it is the Old Testament that foretold of YaHshua and is the written proof and record of His first coming.  We now have what is called the New Testament, or Covenant and it contains the record of what happened and of the fulfillment of those things the OT said would occur leading up to and after the arrival of the Messiah.

The religious Jews believe that prophecy is finished, that it died with the death of the SecondTemple, we, as Christians do not believe that.  We all know that the book of Revelation was delivered directly from God the Father, to YaHshua, our Savior and then to His angel and finally to the Apostle John who then wrote it all down and we can read it today.  This, in my opinion, is the only letter, or small booklet that one could really claim to be from the very Hand of our God, even then, men printed it.  There is not much damage man could do to that book as no one seems to really understand it, so how can you mess with something you do not know how to mess with?  You can’t so it is best to translate it as best you can bias or no bias.

The Greek language is not a holy language, neither is Latin, nor English, nor any other language on this earth.  The Greeks were good at collecting things, as they fancied themselves as intellectuals and the Roman were always trying to be as smart.  It was the Greeks, under Roman permission, that instigated the saving of the Hebrew writings into another language, Greek of course, as the Hebrew was getting lost as the Semitic languages changed.  The work coming out of this became known as the Septuagint also referred to as the LXX and finished around BC132.  Maybe the first reason was not to preserve the Hebrew writings due to a loss of the language but in the end that is exactly what happened and around 200AD when the Jews began to attempt a recovery of their writings they found the Greek Septuagint of immense help and, what appears as the saving grace in later efforts to restore the Jewish people of Israel to a Hebrew language.

Make no mistake, however, the Hebrew language of today is not the language of then, that has been lost.  Paleo Hebrew has only recently become understood enough that some few can muddle through it.  What is fascinating is every time and archeology team uncovers an ancient piece or roll or stone with writing recognized as Scripture of the Hebrews it is nearly identical to what we already have in the modern translations – this is a miracle in and of itself.  Here is where you can see the preserving hand of our God and Father – HalleluYah!

The KJV is a mess but a beautiful mess and for a Government Authorized edition not too bad.  King James Authorized the translating of it and commanded that it be the ONLY BIBLE read from the pulpit or the street.  Imagine, a government, king approved, holy book accepted today by Christians as the work of the Living God -- written by Him?

If one will take the time to do a little research on the translations of the Bible you will see the real miracle is its truthfulness and integrity, and the message leading to changed lives, and the Salvation to come  has never changed, no matter how many hands it has passed through or book burnings it has survived it is still the same.  It is up to us as individual believers to search and research and to believe what we see and what we read until shown otherwise and when that does occur be willing to change to adjust to the new knowledge, base in the word itself no matter what language you are reading it in.  The Holy Bible, no matter the language it is printed in is pure in its message and the revealtion concerning our Creator.  All of this said, the Book is still corrupted at point by the hand of men and we can see this in the Name of our Savior -- another name is presentes as opposed to His original birth Name given Him at birth.  We are instruceted to "study" and to "test every spirit" and to take care, "rightly dividing the Word of Truth, the Bible, be it in English, Greek, or Chinese.  (2 Tim 2:15, 1 Jn 4:1)

It will be interesting to sit in the Kingdom one day and speak with the authors of the letters in the NT and hear them say, concerning certain things, “Well, I never meant for it to be taken that way.”  Or to be amazed at how artfully their words were turned around and upside down to create a new following to lead babes in the word off into darkness.

Paul says it pretty good when he says, “Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written." Then you will not take pride in one man over against another.” (1Co 4:6)  NIV

We should all strive to do just that, "...not to go beyond what is written".  Too much reading between the lines may not be a good thing.  The Ultra Orthodox Jews, in their Oral Traditions, do just that, they read between the lines and between each letter and then the letters themselves giving each a meaning of its own and this leads to secret messages and on and on it goes, codes, secrets, revealation from a single letter.  What happens, and has happened, is the message, in words, to us is clouded over by the intricate break downs of the letters, and the words and the spaces to the point we can no longer see the simplicity in the whole word, the complete paragraph the plain meaning of what is being said.

We belong to the Messiah of the Scriptures so let us pray to find the simplicity that is in Him.  Praise you YaH! (or) HalleluYah!  The Mystery is God in us and the adoption into a relationship with His Son as sons and daughters.  This mystery is in the message no matter which language it is read in, or which translation we read.   Keeping it simple is the best way and if a thing is made hard and has this and that attached to it, that we must do this or that, or bow a certain way, hold the cup thus, obey us or you are out and on and on it goes.  Paul tells us it is not a religion of punishment, a religion of does and don't, a righteous life does not harm to his neighbor and worships our Creator and Savior with love and desire.

(2Co 11:3)  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. KJV

You are neither Jew nor Gentile, you are a Child of the Living God, a brother and sister of YaHshua, not of Geez-us but of YaH-shua.  Man has been allowed to corrupt the words but not the message, to corrupt the names, partly, but not completely.  And for what purpose, you might ask?  To separate the cream from the water, the chaff from the wheat, the weeds from the good plants  -- it is the unstable mind that chases after the “alien angels” and follow every demonic doctrine that comes along, that falls for Jewish fables as fact, that side up with workers of darkness in the name of righteousness when the instructions received say to have nothing to do with them (2 John 1:9-11). You are not to give a blessing on anyone that has not accept YaHshua as Son of the Father in Heaven and our Savior.  You are told to "expose" them (Eph 5:11) -- those workers of Satan claiming to be Christians, deceiving and being deceived themselves (2 Tim 3:13).  But what do we see today?  I do not need to tell you if you have eyes to see and ears to hear but I do ask, do you use them?

Inerrant?

The Holy Bible is a wonderful book and the closest thing to our Creator talking with us.  It is a miracle book but it is a book put together by men, inspired men in the original writings to be sure, but it is not inerrant, not anymore as men, other men not the original authors have used and abused the original letters.  Men with noble intentions have written and rewritten the word of the Hebrews as well as the Gospel accounts passed around from one ekklesia (group) to another.  Letters of the Apostle's translated and rewritten and the original autographs eventually being lost to decay and time leaving behind copies of copies.  We do not have the originals today but we do have copies in various languages, the Greek being some of the first, and when compared are suprisingly in agreement.  The Book is not without problems.  Still, this is the genius of this work, no other work like it, no matter what language, the message of salvation and the true hope of mankind is there -- it twists the turns the human spirit, cutting and dividing, revealing and exposing, ripping at the darkness, tearing at the evil of man's mind, there is not another book like it.

Another part of this genius is its ability to separate and divide the true seekers from the casual or the insincere, or those in it only for the gain.  Make no mistake, the message is inerrant but the Book is not, it is full of written errors and this is where the student needs to "rightly divide the Truth (the Book, 1 Tim 2:15)" not assume we have it all in perfect form.  If the writings were "inerrant" we would have nothing to do but read it, but this would be just as big a mistake because then no one would have an excuse for denying it and the message.  With the errors we have a responsibility to allow the Spirit to guide us into the truth, and that will only be to a certain people seeking truly the truth.  Allowing error without the message being disturbed is brilliant it leaves room for the sincere believer and the critic or those refusing belief, the blind and the deceived and those allowed to deceive.  What a tool for dividing the chaff from the wheat.  The Bible, as a book, cannot be inerrant out of the mere fact men have been allowed to translate it.  Unlike what the Mormons claim, the Scriptures were not delivered to men on scrolls of gold printed in Heaven.  Actually even the Mormons do not claim this concerning the Hebrew/Christian Bible but concerning the origin of their book of Mormon -- very unusual.

What does inerrant mean, I think most already know but it is worth a look, to pin down this idea of what it means to say your Bible is "inerrant".

Inerrant:  “Free from error”  or as the American Heritage Dictionary has it, “Infallible, Containing no errors.”

There are a few that claim using the term "inerrant" still applies to the Christian Bible but in a different way.  Here is a quote from a source I would recommend to anyone -- A Visual History of the English Bible, by Donald L. Brake -- page 221, "The term inerrant should not be used in its mormal sense about any translation or version.  It technically refers to the original manuscripts".

I personally do not agree with this as there are no "original manuscripts", only parts and pieces, to compare with.  Also, it is assumed all of the Apostles wrote in Greek when the common sense mind would tell you this cannot be so.  The original letters from twelve Jewish men and their companions would not have written their message in Greek, especially when some of these letters and at least one of the Gospels were address to a Jewish audience.  Most claiming the Holy Bible is inerrant will say God put the errors in there -- sort of like correcting mistakes with mistakes?

"The Holy Bible is inerrant", some shout.  We all should know that is not true, how can it be.  Remember the warning from Paul -- Satan uses subtle suggestions to misdirect us.  I have heard some say that their God’s arm is not so short as to not be able to keep His word pure -- Okay, so why does it have errors?  By this, however, they mean the errors that are perceived, and real, such as the bogus name Jesus, not being a Jewish name, is, by their thinking, on purpose and thus authorized by God.  This argument is put forward by very serious people.  "God wanted His Name changed", they shout, "God wanted those errors and later additions to what was originally written, or He wouldn't have put them in there."  What this does is make the Christian look foolish and ignorant to the general population making it all the harder for true believers to reach them, to introduce the message of the Coming Kingdom and of our Savior.  These misguided, though sincere, people are excusing the Creator God and making Him a lesser god, they are actually saying he allows the mistakes and errors as a way to further His message by actually improving it.  So, according to them, our Heavenly Father Named His Son, our Savior, by a Name which we are all to be Saved (Acts 4:12) then about 400 years ago changed it to Jesus and before that it was Iesus, and before that it was Iesvs, and before that it was Iesous, and before that it was Inoous, and before that Yeshua, and before that YeHoshua (English Joshua, which has always been with us)

If it were our Creator’s intention to make the Holy Bible error free it would be, but to say He has deliberately put errors in it is just plain stupid.  Why ?  Yes there are errors, lots of them and He did not put them in there, man did, along with some help from that other super being hoping to .  So why?  I said before, and I will say it again-- this is a good mechanism by which to separate some of the chaff from the wheat.  It is an attempt by Satan, no doubt, to confuse and misdirect and discourage those too lazy to look into this Book for themselves.  We all hear people parroting what they have been told, not what they have discovered for themselves.  The sad thing is most claiming to be follower or to be Christians cannot answer this chorus of critic.

Why, Why does God Allow This?

He allows it so we have to rely on His Spirit and guidance in being able to discern what is truth and what is truth mixed up.  He wants us to learn a new trust of His Word and instructs us, as we have seen, to study for approval.  Why "approval"?  When the student is attentive to the teacher the student is begging for approval and more information, more understanding and we are students of YaHshua and children of the Heavenly Father.  We are instructed the Scriptures have no "private interpretation" so when a self proclaimed prophet comes to you with and interpretations and secret knowledge be very careful.  What does this mean, to be very careful?  It means we must use the Bible itself to interpret itself and in this method the errors are exposed and easily set aside.  From this point the Spirit confirms your findings, the Truth is witnessed between our Spirit and His.

If you cannot confirm the truth with Scripture be on gaurd, just as the Aposlte Peter received a vision and message from God and instead of accepting what he was being shown he denied his Creator three times when commanded to take and eat unclean animals.  Why would he do this, after all, he was commanded to do it an not just by any old angel but by His God and Savior, but still Peter refused (Acts 10:14; 11:8).  Why would he refuse?  Because he knew his Savior would not ask him to violate the Scripture.  It is forbidden for a child of God to eat unclean things, like dogs and cats, lions and snakes, so Peter knew this to be a "truth" and know he stood on firm ground, refused.  Did the Lord our God and Savior, YaHshua, punish him for disobeying?  No, because Peter had done the right thing and being troubled over this Peter knew there had to be a different meaning than the command to eat unlcean meats contrary to the Scripture.  It was later revealed to Peter the vision had to do with men (Gentiles) whom the Jews considered as unlcean dogs.  The vision became clear to him once he understood and Peter went with the three Gentiles and went into a Gentiles house, which was forbidden by the Pharisees and the Jew of Jews and later Peter had to give an account for his actions before the Jerusalem council for having done this.  Peter was rightly dividing the Word and was being shown that Gentiles were no longer to be considered outside of "salvation" but were to be invited in.

The Errors are There

He allows this to happen he does not cause it to happen.  The errors, while many, are mostly of no consequence but does bring out the howlers, the monkey men hopping up and down making their monkey noises going, screwing up their monkey face, shouting, “Looky, looky another letter out of place, looky, looky, mean words.” Pointing out all of the dots the lines and the hard to understand wording, from hard to understand languages -- hard to understand, not impossible, certainly not for those called.  They chatter, they squeal, "Looky, looky, no two trnaslations are 100% alike, oh, oh." The critics and some are professing believers,  compare the differences that are really no differences, checking between modern translations in the endless comparisons with the KJV bible.  “Oh, the Devils work, to be sure, these modern translations.”  The monkey men laughing, and rolling around on the floor, howling “Those Christians are all nuts, look at how easy it is to upset them, what great fun.”

Why?  Why defend the HOLY Greek?

The back bone of this misdirection is the attempt at establishing the bogus name JESUS.  Maintaining support for the deception is the preaching and teaching the Greek is the "original language" of the Christian Bible when it is not, it is merely a copy of the originals which the biblical scholars readily admit do not exist, or at the least, have never been found.  To say the Greek is the original is a sham, not one of the Aposltes were Greek and our Savior certainly was not a Greek but the Christian Church under the guidance of the Roman Catholic Church has perptrated this deception upon the total of Christianity.

The Name of our Savior is something different from what is presented in the "authorized versions" (remember, "authorized, means by the Pope or the King of England).  When YaHshua makes strong statements concerning the Name He came in (John 5:43, John 17:12) and the Apostles make strong statements concerning one’s salvation in accepting or rejecting a certain Name (Heb 13:15, Acts 2:21, Acts 9:14-15) a certain identity, it should then become very important, don't you think?  The Adversary knows this!  By selling everyone on the idea that the Greek is the ORIGINAL inspired word of the Living God the issue, or so they think, is solved.  The Messiah becomes a Greek Savior with a Greek/Latin name, Iesous, or, Iesus.  The English, not satisfied with this, changed the Name yet again in the revision of the 1611 KJV to Jesus, from the Latin, IESVS, making this savior their own by the inventing of a name that is strange to every language before, by the stroke of a pen the name is changed to JESUS.  The following quote demonstrates the change from a Jewish birth name, delivered by and Angel to Mary and Josheph, to a Greek name and it is admitted it is not a transliteration as some keep saying, it is not even a translation.

From the pages of a research on the Name in Wikipedia we come up with this interesting admission:

Clement of Alexandria (around 200AD) and St. Cyril of Jerusalem (around 335AD) considered the Greek form Iesous to be the original even going so far as to interpret it as a true Greek name and not simply a transliteration of Hebrew (A similar situation is seen in the use of the true Greek name Simon as a translation of the Hebrew name Shim'on in texts such as Sirach.) Eusebius related it to the Greek root meaning "to heal" thus making it a variant of Jason meaning healer.

If You Had A Time Machine

If you could time travel back 4-500 years and begin asking about Jesus people would not know who you were talking about and if you insisted it was the Christ of Christiandom they might even burn you at the stake.  Keep going back a 100 years at a time and as you go keep asking about the God and Savior JESUS. You would not find one person knowing what or whom you are talking about.  Keep going right back to the times of the Apostles and start trying to correct everyone, teaching this Jesus as savior, and what do you suppose would happen.  That's right, the Apostles would start warning the body believers to stay away from the likes of you, and they did (2Cor 11:4, Gal 1:6).  Even YaHshua suggested the possibility another name would be accepted --

(John 5:43) I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

Checking this verse against other translations the sense is plain.  If another name, by someone else, or any name other than the Name He came in will be readily accepted while rejecting the true Name in which He, our Savior came.  This has proven to be true, not only in the rise of false Messiah's but in the total rejection and replacment of His Name, the Name He came in!

This error leads to other errors and other truths missing the target.  The mere fact that our Savior, the true Savior, did not come as a Greek and was never given a Greek name is ignored.  Next, the name put forward by the KJV supporters and translators of the past and all other translators and translations, save a very few, following in the KJV tradition and that Translation, when it comes to the transliteration of Names, following the Greek influence from the Old Testament to the News.  Names throughout the Old KJV Testament were influenced by the Greek Translation known to many as the LXX, or the Septuagint, a 3rd century BC of the Hebrew Scrolls.  Does anyone argue this translation of the Hebrew into the Greek as being the "original"?  Of course not, only with the New Testament do they do that.  The New Testament writings are obviously addressed to a mixed audience with the majority of first converts (first 15-20years) being Jews (Israelites) and other people of the land of Palestine, Middle Eastern people of the Hebrew/Aramaic languages.  The Name Jesus cannot truthfully be supported by the Greek, inspired or not, and it is not really Greek.  The name JESUS is neither Greek, nor Latin, and certainly not Hebrew, nor Aramaic, it is another name, however, a totally different name of deception.  The Greek is reported to be IESOUS (Hey-sow-oos) and is not pronounced anything like JESUS (Gez-us) -- it is neither a transliteration or a translation.

The name Jesus (Geez-us) is not close to anything from the past, it is a modern invention supported by translators that have lost half their minds and refuse to go back to find the other half.  The name Geez-us is nothing like our Savior’s true Name.  A name, as mentioned before, which can be found in the English Scriptures as Joshua, (YaHshua, not Jaw-shua),  is ignored, refused, rejected.  His Name is in the Bible and it is rejected for another name, unbelievable.  Joshua while not in perfect form is a much closer transliteration of YaHshua, or YaHushua than anything in the Greek or Latin which basiclly change the name or our Savior to another name.  This deception is almost 2000 years old with the newest version, JESUS, being only about 400 years of age.

 What About Yeshua?

We hear more and more Evangelicals using this name interchangably with that of Jesus on occassion and this should alert the Christian converts to something other than the name Jesus as the name Yeshua (Yes-shua) does not come across as the name Jesus (Geez-su).

Usually when you see this form, Yeshua, being used it is in conjunction with the bogus name, Jesus (Geezus?) it is a minor effort to cover the bases when confronted with the truth that the name Jesus cannot possibly be His Name.  Some of the evangelicals are using this form interchangeably with the bogus Jesus in the same breath trying to cover all the bases.  I'm guessing, of course, but what other reason would there be?  Certainly I don't want to say they are being guided by demons spirits for by the one and only Satan? This form, Yeshua, is given to us on a golden platter by the Jewish scribes, you know, the Christian's friend (sarcasm, in case you missed it), those saying your Messiah never lived (denial), that the Gospels are made up stories and the like, and if He did exist He most certainly was not the Son of G-d, they say.  Yeah, that’s who I will go to for the straight scoop, right -- ask the Jewish scribes and the Pharisees, they will tell you the truth of just how to correctly say the Name that they will not say -- it's time to wake up.

So, what do you think?  Will you start looking at you Bible as a book and not as some holy object to be praised and worshiped?  The Book is a tool and it has its faults and it can tell us what we need to know to survive in our spiritual life until YaHshua comes.  Even then, when He is here, the Book will still be in use.  Yes it will, it will be used as a witness to His truth, and to comply with what our Savior said, “…not one jot not one title will pass until all is fulfilled,”  and that my friends will not be until after the Millennium rule of YaHshua has finished -- HalleluYaH!

Peace to you and yours, your servant Dan
